ill tell you a great ab excerise, you need 2 dumbells (the kind that has a bar and locknuts so weights can be added and so if you grab the bar you can roll the weights on the ground freely

it is hard to describe in words

on your knees holding both dumbells, roll out so your arms are outstretched as far as possible without touching the ground then roll back in to your knees. this will seem remarkably easy but do a set of them and you will feel crushed the next day

I just like to flex my abs several times throughout the day until it hurts. It feels like it should be doing some good, and I have noticed my pot belly starting to diminish.

I used to do that for hockey fas, it is indeed a killer cept we used those jumbo exercise balls

Gateway,

If you really want to get in better shape fast get "The Abs Diet" by David Zinczenko. Dude is the editor of mens health and the book isn't really a diet more like a super outline of sorts.

:ninja: six weeks long too :ninja:

It'll be a way better investment then that goofy chair and there are cazillions of ab exercises in it too.

speaking of diets, your "6 pack" will look like a normal gut under fat.. so if you really want a 6 pack you gotta eat right.

i remember sitting on one of those ab lounges at a party and it just seems like the pussy way to get in shape.

i personally would go with weighted crunches and a clean diet.

oh yea you get pretty sore when you're just starting out. its worth it when those gains start showing though. just gotta stay motivated, because pushing your body to its limits over and over again starts to lose its appeal after a while..

you might want to try doing pilates i do it every day now all the exercises work your core muscles and it reshapes your entire body. I'm hooked on it after doing a routine you feel stretched and relaxed not sweaty and worn out

you could try weighted crunches; if you have free weights, take 2-3 10lb weights and then get into crunch position with the weights either on your chest or behind your head, whichever is most comfortable.. a couple sets of those and my abs are done
