Are spores legal in the UK?

I'm going back to the UK soon, and was planning to grow some mushrooms when I get back. I was originally planning on bringing back a growkit, but I've read on several websites regarding the new law that specifically mention that pyschodelic mushrooms and mushroom growkits are illegal now in the UK, but mushroom spores are never mentioned. Does anyone know if I'm safe to bring back spores from a legal standpoint?

Shrooms and growkits were made illegal on the 18th July, but spores are legal so you should be ok.
