filterpatch bags and water
    #4579762 - 08/25/05 04:11 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

I recently got some filter patch bags and have been sterilizing them in my pc. The first one i did, i taped the top shut using tape and folded the bag over and it worked fine. However, the next two, water got in and started to cook the grains. I'm almost dead positive that the water is coming in through the filter patch. Any ideas on how to keep it out? Will putting tape over the patch just to pc it fuck up the patch?

Put less water in the PC, it is probably bubbling up maybe in the filter or the top of the bag

Fold the top of the bag over with 2 clothespins instead of tape. Also I agree with using less water.

there should only be 1/2" of water at most, just enough to cover the bottom.
