just this morning me and my boyfreind of four years got i a huge fight. somebody called the police to our house and they found my terraniums, which had 3 casings and two cakes inside, one one the casings was in its second flushed and had just pinned a couple of days ago. the cakes had just been dunked so had no shrooms growing. the other two casings had six cakes each and were in incubation mode.
i thank my lucky stars that i was not taken to jail, but i am so depressed now. i have no more spores, prints, nothing!!!!

i don't know why i was not taken to jail, JUST THANKFUL!!.
they came into my bedroom because the y were following my boyfreind around while he gathered his stuff and he made sure the police saw the terranium, he turned on the light above them and took the towel i had over them off. he was resentful because i was kicking him out. and the fucked up thing about it is we have 3 kids together and he tried to get me a drug charge. i'm threw with men!!!!!!

I agree with Hippie, they are no doubt testing what they found and will be back. Because you had no shrooms actually growing, they can't be sure what you are doing.

If all they did was make you throw it out then relax. No cause for concern. In fact, I threw out some old casings in a grabage can with a clear bag. A week later I went to take the garbage out to the bin and pulled the bag out of the can. Holy moses, I had Monsters growing in there! 1/2oz when dried from only 6 shrooms! If I hadn't used a clear bag, I never would have seen them. I figure it was because they had no light. Now I give my guys 5 mins of light a day max and my yields are 40-50% better!

If they threw everything out into the garbage right in front of you, odds are you have nothing to fear, but if they took it with them, that is a whole other story. If they took it with them I suggest getting a lawyer because that is the best thing you can do, but if not than don't. It couldn't even hurt to just consult with a lawyer about what happened just to see where you stand on the matter.
The thing you gotta be worried about if they threw them away is if they will be back. Not just for any given reason persay, but if they know what they found and in the future they are lookin for someone to bust, they might come knowkcing down at your door sooner than you think.
Not to make you more worried or anything, because I have been where you are. Well 3 cops came to my house with a search warrent for my computer, but as chance has it I had a pull plantation of dope under my balcony growing. I was almost shitting myself for the whole time that they were there. That wasnt when it got worse though, it got worse when there was a car accident three blocks away and two of them had to go to the scene, leaving me with a rookie that just stood in my living room and stared out into the praries for like 2 hours until they came back and finished what they started. When they drove off I fell on my knees and started thanking god. Than I transplanted the pot to an outdoor plantation a few miles away for safety. That was a scary few hours.

If you were told to just trash everything... chances are you lucked out, and the cop cut you some slack
I wouldn't worry too much about what you "had" in the house, but I'm sure the man will be keeping you in mind if a bunch of shrooms start to show up for sale on the streets. So I would try to be very discrete about any new growing you may want to do.

I wouldnt worry about the police being back. Usually them having you throw something out means either they are lazy or are sympathetic. Usually lazy though; you have to fill out a lot of paper work. They would have taken everything that looked involved if they were going to do anything. You would have been cleared out that night. I see no reason to be concerned they are coming back. Being they had you throw everything away... even if they did have the afterthought to come back they would be discouraged cause the evidence would be gone. Thus waist of time. Plus with no evidence collected they have no way to get a warrant or probable cause for a onsight search. You dont have to let them search you, your car, or house. You can say no. Although laws might have changed since the terrorism scare. Yet that should only apply to terrorist circumstances.
Anyway this is a moment to look over your life. Why have the mushrooms anyway? Are you where you want to be? What do you want for your kids? Moments like this are good for inducing a positive change. Take an honest look at yourself and your life. Everything happens for a reason. Learn what you are to learn.

Well, to appease the delicate balance of the universe (or something like that), if I were you I'd take this moment to cleanse your house.
I mean go apeshit. If you're getting a "chance" here, take advantage!
Get rid of all suspicious books, magazines, mail, and so on. Get all the grow equipment out of the house. The syringes, trays, perlie, whatever. Get it ALL out. Scrub the former grow area. Mist with bleach or H202. Get rid of all traces of spore life.
If you get high, get all the herbs and pipes and rolling papers out. And you might want to use the 'puter at the library -- or get yours out of the house.
In other words, go apeshit.

If they threw it out than they shouldnt be giving you any more grief for your troubles because if they did, they would get in shit from their superiors for throwing a whole mushroom growing-op out, not reporting it, and basicaly breaking the law themselves. In fact I think that would be grounds for dismissel like a cop stealing drugs from work would be.

I would first like to say that I know exactly what you are going through. About 9 months ago I had the cops confiscate my entire grow op. Perhaps I got lucky, or perhaps the cops dont prosecute mushroom growers like other drugs, but I got off with only a possesion of alcahol charge(im a minor). I think that you have gotten good help so far. If they made you throw it out as opposed to taking it, you are probably in the clear. if your really paranoid talk to a lawyer. I would suggest also that you get all evidence out of the house, clear your computer history files, etc. I would wait at least 6 months before I started growing again. Your ex sounds like a real jerk, maybe you should consider some more drastic lifestyle changes, particularly staying away from people like that. Anyways thats my 2 cents, Good Luck.
Any relation to reality this post may have is purely coincidental.

And, don't warry about " the man " You are small potatoes and then there would all kinds of stuff involved, like yanking the kids away and all that. Cops are people to and they are not always out to get ya. In fact a few of the cops I have met ( on a personal level ) are more understanding of drugs and the people who use them than the average joe.
I have been caught with Metamphetamines, Mary Jane and extacy on me on two different occasions.
The most that was done to me besides confiscation and a ticket ( Which effectively killed my lisence for 6 months )
Was that they made me do was crush the pills under my heel and I had to bust up a 2 foot bong up in the middle of a circle of cops. After that they made me get on my hands and knee's to get all of the pieces, made me throw them in the back of my truck, and I drove off.....

I've read the opinions of a couple people here who are under the mistaken impression that because the police were there on a domestic disturbance call, that means they can't arrest you for mushroom growing even though they saw it with their own eyes. This is ludicrous...let's play make believe and replace the mushroom terrarium with a dead mexican gangster with 3 9mm holes in his face. Do you think they'd be powerless to arrest you for that fellony? Not a chance...cops can arrest you for any felony they personally observe under ANY cincumstances.

I've had them turn up for a noise complaint, They noticed a nice metre high mully just outside window, It was allready dark so i didn't think they saw it. Would not have had time to pull it out let alone the other 6 tied down bigger ones. But they were back with every cop in the area. "BUSTED".
So if they see something illegal, Nomatter why their there, You can be busted for it. But if you were lucky enough to have a cop in a good mood, That tells you to throw everything, And you have no previous record, I think they'll think they might have scared you enough not to grow anymore. Maybe they would have rather charged your ex.
I think you will be safe, I don't think they will be back.

I am only 18, and I know not to grow in the same house as your kids, unless a foster home sounds good. DCFS wiill be knocking on your dorr prob. But anyways sorry to hear about that, GET A LAWYERS ADIVICE.!!!! U should get a free consultation and jus see what he/she says........

unless your from utah, or texas, the police have no right to enter your house without permission, or a warrent. Probably cause would not hold up in court. "that they they didn't arrest you."
Also, if they where no pins, how the hell whould they know what it was, it could have been SHitake you where growing. They didn't even have the right to take it from you.

hey guys, thanx for all your moral support and words of comfort. yesterday was probably the worst day of my life but i did a lot of soul searching (and crying) last night and today is a whole new day!!! my bf came around yesterday begging to "TALK". he knows he fucked up major but i have made a strong decision to move forward in a positive fashion. no revenge tactics or letting him drag me down to his level. i just hold my head high and move on. there are better things in store for me. and yesterday was a REAL EYE OPENER!!! my destiny has pulled me in another direction and i know it has something good in store for me so i will celebrate this sequence of events as a opportunity for rebirth and consider yesterday the first day on my new path to happiness.
everyone here has touched my heart and made me feel like i was surrounded by love when i found myself in a scary situation. i can never tell you what all your responses mean to me. i could of went in two directions, a downward spiral of self pity and depression or a path of enlightenment. you guys helped me pick myself up off the ground and keep going. i love you guys!!! mushy, mushy, mushy. ok i know you heard enough of all the terms of endearment stuff. but trully from the heart...THANKS!

Maybe working in the porn industry for so long has made it

My post was intended to be in XAZIA's best interest and shouldn't have been taken offensively, but this can be considered a flame.
Don't EVEN ASK people to disclose information like that especially when it could be an open case. Get a fucking clue kid. I'm sure she'd love having more cops show up at her door to take her children away. People can easily look up their local laws without your dumb ass requesting the information on a public message board.

I really feel the Xazia person has her priorities assbackwards. She should not be cultivating illegal substances in the same home as she keeps her children. This makes me sick how would you feel if they busted in your door with a battering ram and were pointing sub machine guns at your young children while your kids are crying and then thier are quickly swept away to Gov custody and used as tokens against you in your own case. IT HAPPENS!!!!! DONT BE STUPID!!!! it almost makes me sick when i see it on the news. And then they could seize your house and auction it all proceeds going to your local police station. So when you have children(young children especially) you should not be growing anything. Just go pick some if you have to they have info for that on this site. That way your innocent children don't have to wonder why mommys in jail for and thier living with strangers. Leave the growing up to the fearless bastards who have nothing to loose and tons of $$$ to make. It's sad it has to be like this in this terrible war America has commited against it's own citizens.
