Mass inoculation

If someone had a whole bunch of substrate prepared, what would be the best overall way to go about inoculating them.

The honey tek seems to work well, except for the fact that if the solution gets contaminated so does every thing else.

I have read mycleium syringe methods, they seem easy enough.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the process easier or more risk free?

PF Tek or MMGG or someting similar with grain and verm is the most risk free. Honey Tek is asking for trouble unless you have a good clean agar culture to start with.

After you start seeing myc growth wait a day or two (My hippo waits two days) and inject 2cc's of 3% hydrogen peroxide into the jars. Hydrogen peroxide kills spores and bacteria but won't kill myc in small quantities. This should prevent contamination. Also, try to use the honey jars as soon as possible after incubation period is finished. The longer it sits there the better chance contamination has time to get a foothold. Hope this helps.

I always pump them full of 3 CC's, four 1/2 CC's on the sides and 1 CC right in the middle. It gets them going in a hurry. I've done my EQ's this way and some of them were ready after 7 days! But I just chilled a while after that to be safe.
