Vegoose festival: your thoughts.....
    #4577154 - 08/24/05 11:03 PM (18 years, 7 months ago)

www.vegoose.com

The lineup is out of this world, and the setting (Vegas on Halloween) kicks ass, but wtf is up with the ticket price? By the time you are done paying those extra fees the tickets cost 142$, 20$ less then a ticket to Bonnaroo. The reason I compare the two is because the are both put on by Superfly Productions. Anyways, at b-roo you get 3 days of music and that extra first day to just hang out. At Vegoose there is no on site camping or 24 parking what so ever. And with all the artists there is sure to be some horrible overlaps as far as bands. Now if you have a money tree in your backyard and you enjoy live music then by all means, GO! But for people like me, I really I am trying to figure this one out before I decide to go. I think that Superfly is starting to get hella greedy.....but yea...thoughts?

A lot of great bands. If Ratdog decides to play Vegoose, I'm definitely there.

As of now, I'm 50/50.

Greedy, but people will still rush the place with that line up. Did you check out the VIP tickets? Just in case you want to drop even more loot.

The VIP tix are such a rip off, I was planning on dropping that amount to get there and back.
