"The number of hydroponic shops seems way out of kilter with the level of community interest in hydroponically grown vegetables and flowers." ( ! ) lol

'-SA Opposition leader Mike Rann lends his support to a crackdown on sales of hydroponic equipment in South Australia. The state now has 96 specialist stores, the highest number per head of population in the country.
Some suspect they may be used for cannabis production.'

...ooohhh..you don't say...

(SA has allowed a small no. of plants to be grown for personal use)

I don't think they will be stopping them anytime soon unless they crack down and patent and tax hydroponics. With cheap solar power and hydroponics, everyone is cashing in on hydroponic tea.
