alright, I was just wondering if what i herd was true-
If there is more myc than contam then the myc will overule the contamination and kill it???

In two of my jars i have what i believe is cobweb, darker white color (not possitive) but over the last couple of days it has been going away.

MY QUESTION- I am not positive it is contam, but wouldn't the contam take over the whole damn jar??

As of right now I am just gonna throw them away.

btw - pf tek, bout three weeks, showed up after 90% colonization.

THX -SIRHC

its possible that its not a contam if its whitish , id hold on to it , see what happens , worst comes to worst then fruit the jar in solitary confinement , cut off the " contaminated part" and spritz the cake with about 15:1 water and h2o2 ( hydrogen peroxide ) thats 15 parts water 1 part peroxide

I've had greyish, darker areas of growth which turned out to be mycelium. If that is what you have, it's probably just an area of weaker mycelium.
