i've got a bag with some shrooms inside of another bag(plastic) that has been in the freezer for about 7 months now.will these mushrooms have lost their potentcy by now?and what happens if you digest shrooms that are no longer potent?will you just not feel anything or will they make you sick?i was thinking of boiling them in water and drinking it because i dont like the act of chewing or swallowing mushrooms.
oooh, you left them in the freezer? This can leave you with some pretty bad results. Alot of times, when they hit room temperature from being in a freezer, they begin to become almost a goo. Next time, id recommend keeping them in the refrigerator(one that isnt set to a temp that is too cold). Also, plastic bags suck up oxygen. You really want to keep them in glass.... These shrooms might not have too much left in them after this long of poor storage.
As for getting sick, youll have to rely on others opinions, as Im not too sure about that.

Keep your shrooms stored in a semi-airtight light-proof container with desiccant on the bottom.
