    #4571805 - 08/23/05 07:36 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

Im made to perspire, and find the idea of clogging my pores revolting. Thus... i do not wear deoderant. I smell manly. :P

Any ideas aside from patcholi?

I use Tom's Natural Deodorant. It's not an antiperspirant, but I want my pores to breathe, and sweat if they need to. Also you can get mildly scented oils that help mask any odor.

It has lichen and coriander for odor, and aloe vera to soothe the skin (at least that is what it says)

Vegetarianism.

If you don't eat a bunch of animal protiens and dead things, you don't smell like rot.

Imagine that!

the stench is caused from bacteria under your arms it is present because the armpit is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria warm wet dark. The bacteria is always present on the skin but only becomes a problem when gross dirty people don't shower and wear deoderant

It also doesn't become a problem when the sweat you excrete is full of animal urine that flavors your meat.

The environment the bacteria need involve the animal protiens you excrete when you eat meat and sweat.

Yummy!  :laugh:

* uric acid

I completely agree with the vegetarian thing = MUCH less smell.
My friend who was basically a carnivore would always smell bad when he sweat.. even if he took a shower like half hour before. I could go for weeks without showering ..like when camping, and still not smell as bad as he did after a day.

But antiperspirants are bad for your body. They clog pores that are not meant to be clogged. And most anti-perspirants/deoderants contain aluminum, which is toxic, and can potentially cause cancer.

I agree with the Toms of Maine thing. Get a natural deodorant, that does not contaim aluminum.

What about Deodorant Body Talc?? It's powdered deodorant shit that smells really good. "Lightly fragranced talc absorbs excess moisture and provides effective deodorant protection. To use apply after bath or shower."

It contains: Talc, magnesium carbonate, fragrance, polysorbate 20, and triclocarban.

I don't know if any of these ingredients are bad for your body??
