Some of my dealer friends told me that if you keep thin apple slices or something citrus with your buds that it will slightly rehydrate and make your buds weigh more. they also told me that the apple aroma will stick to the bud slightly.
any truth to this?

Sure, but it greatly increases the chance of nasty stuff growing on the bud and ruining it and being potentially dangerous.

if on the off chance swim gets overly dry buds....swim will sometimes place said buds into a jar with a small bit of apple or an orange peel suspended by a string (not in contact with buds)....jar is closed and let set for a day or two.....buds will take up the moisture and flavor and be a much better smoke

what schwip said is exactly wat i do, but id keep an eye on it every so often just to make sure mold doesnt grow. unless ur bud is much drier than any ive had and ive had some be quite dry, u wont need to keep it in that jar for more than a day.

The bottom line is that if you like your bud that way, then by all means enjoy it--just watch for mold.
But don't sell it like that!

DON'T USE APPLES!!
Use a small peice or two of FRESH ORANGE PEEL.
This is much safer in regards to your weed getting all nasty.
