just one...
i went camping. it was fun because we had no camp site in mind, just bushwacked our way to a stream and found a perfect area for a tent and fire. heard large animals walking around the tent at night - had me all freaked out.

We drove up to a mountain lake near us, took a motorboat out to the island, and hiked around the island. At one point, we climbed up a hill to get a better view. The vista was breathtaking! Bright blue sky, without a single cloud, sunshine sparkling on the ripples the wind stirred up, deep green trees covering the surrounding land. The breeze kept us cool, and brought the scent of fertile earth and sweet lake water. I rested in the silence, drinking in the nourishment my soul had been thirsting for all week.

I went tubeing! Floated down the Southtoe River for quite a few miles on a hot summer afternoon, enjoying the cool water and good friends. Very relaxing, but with the occasional little rapid to ride and splash ya.

Nice I went tubing too, we have this thing called the Channel where I live. It basically runs from lake to lake, the first half takes about an hour. My mom had never been down it before, so I took her, my aunt and my two little cousins, and my roomy came as well. So relaxing, and plenty of hotties to boot
We plan on going again this weekend, but armed with a few more essentials, ie: beers and buds

Sunday I went to Clear Water beach here in Tampa. Hundreds of little Sand Dollars and Star Fish were being washed in. Dolphins came by about 20 yards out. They were working their way up the coast and then when they got up to where there was a group of people in the water, they stoped, turned around and hung out. Some kid tried to swim out to them and scared them away though. Neat they knew we were there and got curious. I love dolphins.
I built Mayan temples in the sand, then was throwing french fries up to the sea gulls. They caught them in flight, that was cool. On the drive home, the sunset behind me was neon pink and a huge rainbow stayed out my window.
What a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love being a part of life here!

Oh, and how did I forget passing the football around in the shallows. It's so much fun to make a running leap for a catch and crash land in the water, ball in hand.

I just noticed that most of these have to do with water. Of course it being summer has a lot to do with that.
What makes water so much fun to play in and with?
Even in the winter we have fun with it frozen.
Once someone said to me that water is one of the greatest hedonistic pleasures in life. Its a very sensual medium.

It probably reminds us of being in the womb.

Many perspectives: While swimming, it's like being upon another atmosphere. Just like a fish, who swims near the surface, looking fascinated into another world, so do we swim above at the surface of his world, but remain upward for breathing. While diving, you feel completely hovering and flying through that atmosphere, seeing your ancient world, before your ancestors crawled out of the water. magical/mystical: water, the change, the emotions, the moon, the reflection, the female aspect, that that can dissolve all or go around, the cups, the heart literally: water seen as life itself. See how people will cross it (some swim, some sail or surf, some take the freighter or luxuryclass, some even havent learned to swim yet)
a physical single phenomena a ramble much fun

ooooooooh! I never thought of that! Good One!
That just made me think of something else. I posted an article on human origins where it started with a "SEA of spirit".
Perhaps like the origins of the physical body in the womb, spirit also originated in a fluid water like environment.
Thanks for the inspiration mighty bop!

Last night after making love, my girlfriend and I talked about our beliefs on spirit. It was so beautiful how our conversation flowed and intertwined. We were in sync and the ideas flowed clear and free without either of us trying to be the right one or the smart one. We just shared the joy of discovery. It was beautiful.

waters awsome, for the last few months ive had the subconscoius/ occasional desire to go into water while tripping. I think it must remind me of where we all came from. And we are mainly beings of water too...
I went tubing too! Wasnt that much fun without my girl though :/ Something fun i did: look in her eyes, feel fufilled

Yeah. I've been skinny-dipping under the full and waxing moon this week. I'll drink a couple of St. Pauli Girl Dark beers during the swim, float on my back and actually see stars and planets despite the sodium vapor lamp glow from Miami. A few nights ago, I played a Phish concert, night before last it was 'Dark Side of the Moon' and 'Meddle' by Pink Floyd, by Tiki torch and moonlight. Got out of the water a couple of times to stand under the coconut palms and pee freely into the Earth. My Lady goes out with a girlfriend for a few hours and I just regress into adolescent bachelor mode

I missed your post earlier Blue,
I liked what you said about water! So true!
I hear you Markos! "sodium vapor lamp glow of miami" I love it! I can't wait to bring the fire element out to my pool. This winter I'll be putting hot tub and fire pit in.

Oh, and Blue, I read your Red Sea diving experience in another post. What an experience! Diving is awesome. It's like exploring other worlds in outer space.
