Transplanting My Mycelium To My Substrate. . . . .
    #4569342 - 08/23/05 01:43 AM (19 years, 4 months ago)

:mushroom2:I have growing my mycelium on my agar for the past week, and now I am prepared to transplant.  However, I am wondering what the best method of this would be...  should I simply pluck some of the mycelium and drop it in the sterilized rye substrate, or should I cut a section out, mycelium and agar, and drop that in? :mushroom2:
Thank you.

cut it into small pieces and drop a couple into a jar of rye, I always like to
keep a few extra agar plates and transfer some to them and also prepare a few
slants for long term storage
