Coming Down & Puking

One of my tripping/rolling friends (friend a) has puked the last 2 times we've done shrooms, both times on the way down. We're talking 3-4 trips to the bathroom in the course of 1-2 hours. Not a little puke, but that "give me death" dry-heave routine. The first time, I thought it was because he snatched up some warm o.j. and downed it, while on the way down. This time he stuck to water. The first time Friend A puked, he was on eq & b+. This time he took a concoction - ph, pr, eq & b+. Friend B took the same crazy-ass concoction as Friend A, and puked on the way up. Typical - get it over with puke, no dry heaves. Afterward, he felt physically fine, but was tripping ballz...more than he wanted to be. I had him lay down under the fan for a bit and I take a valium to bring him back to where he wanted to be. Friend C and I did a smaller dose, mostly EQ with a little PH. We were fine, had a great time, no puking.
Here's my question:
Anyone have experience leading them to believe that some strains tend to cause more nausua/puking problems?
If it is not strain-related, does anyone have good puke prevention strategies? I'm especially interested in preventing the "come-down puke", as this is his problem. He loves the trip, but the puking is getting to him.
Thanks for any good tips.
P.S. I tried to search, but didn't find what I was looking for.

I think method of ingestion affects nausea moreso than the strain of shroom. The fiber of the mushroom is very tough and hard to break apart. Grinding up the mushrooms before ingesting them could help out a lot.

I have yet to have any nauseua. The worst was when I said to myself "my stomach is bothering me. Im glad it doenst always feel like this." and that was it

Hi,
Yeah, strain really doesn't have much to do with it.

Most people vomit (especially if the mushrooms are dried) becuase they're body is a little sensative and their body can't digest it so easily.

Many people can't eat dried fruits or vegetables. I have a friend who went on a diet, and everytime she ate dried banana chips she'd get an upset stomach. Your body likes its food/nutrient substance to have a certain moisture content in it so that its easier to break down. Well...dried foods have little water in them so ....its harder to digest.

Best thing to do is chew them up A WHOLE BUNCH! Or if your friend is that sensative, get the mushrooms and make sure that they are rock hard, then grind them into a powder. Or maybe chop them up very fine.

That must be it. I dry, grind and mix in o.j. slushies. The batch Friend A made looked like puke, because they weren't completely dry. My batch was yummy. Thanks for the help.

Problem solved - seems to have been the o.j. We mixed w/Hawaiian Punch this time, and friend A had no problems. I thought it tasted like puke going down, but everyone else liked it.
