Anyone own one of these Mini blender/chopper/juicers advertized on TV? They are a little pricey and just wondered if anyone has tried one. I'm thinking of getting one for culinary and hobby use.

It actually looks pretty good to me, but the price tag? WAY TOO STEEP! Maybe if the thing was 30 dollars or something like that.

Yeah, I agree. CTC has them on sale (Heheheh) for $80. I was gonna spend $30 on a good coffee grinder any way, so I thought the extra things it can do would be worth the extra $50. I especially liked the way it turned regular sugar into dust My old $20 coffee grinder wouldn't do that

as an aside; why do people say expensive cars are overpriced?? they're expensive for a reason, whether it be in the materials, craftsmanship, performance, styling, heritage, etc. If you can't tell the differnce between a 20g car and an 80g car then there's something wrong with you. Sorry, good luck on your vibra....uh, I mean magic bullet.

Those are good for milk shakes, slush drinks & the like. As for seed/grain's Better bet is shop thrift stores. You can often find REAL DEALS.

Yeah my mom got one. It works alright. Blends pretty well. They're small, so if you're thinking of routinely blending huge amounts of whatever, go regular blender.

One of the reasons some cars as well as some other products are so expensive...People will buy them anyway....
You can keep upping the price until people stop buying...
You dont always get what you pay for....

Well, my Jaguar Convertible will have to wait... but I did buy the Magic Bullet Still think it's overpriced, but it makes fantastic smoothies and sorbet.
... and it does do a fine job of grinding things into powder

I humbley(sp?) disagree most things that are significantly more expensive are significantly better/unique/sought after, maybe execpt between a toyota and a lexus, honest.
and for you jag fans, save your money and buy a ford/lincoln; they're built on the same chassis, as is the new mustang, thunderbird, and so forth; and have the same quality. (which isn't a compliment for either brand.)
have fun witht that bullet. make a bunch of pesto and freeze it before fresh basil goes out of season.

I got one as a gift. I never would buy one just to get it. But I must say that since it was free, I like it. I use it allot to grind up things and make frozen drinks. It has a very high rpm motor. The ease of use is allot better than any other blender ive used for making drinks. The dome shape of the blender cup helps circulate the liquid and ice for a more uniform texture. Its great for making hommade whipped cream. It makes a mean salsa, bean dipps and things like that. I get nothing but flustration from normal blenders, I can never get the liquid to solid ratio correct for a good blend. Using the magic bullet kicks ass because it is small, and if its not blending correctly you just pick it up and give the lil bastard a shake, something that is not so convenient with a big bulky blender.

I'm actually glad I bought one... still think it was a bit pricey, but it works great. We probably use it a dozen times a day, for drinks, sandwich speads, and Salsa, for chips and Tacos. The novelty might wear off, but for now, it's great fun Definately better than most blenders I've owned, and there have been some expensive ones.

You will get sick of it, eventually youll just use it like once a month. Cause it sucks to clean it. I blend fresh shrooms in orange juice or grape juice in it once in a while.
