I have 8 brf/verm half-pints that I sterilized more than two weeks ago and only one jar showed sign of growth...i pc'ed the jars for 45 mins with 15psi and the strands are golden teacher and creepers (four jars of each)...theyve been sitting in a tub witht he lid on and a fishtank heater keeping the water warm...the humidity has to be really high (probably as close to 100% as u can get)...about 6 of the jars havent shown any growth, one has about 25% colonization (a creeper jar) and another has a small dot of white the size of my thumbnail...anyone have any ideas????

Why are you humidifying the incubator?
You don't need to...
I don't know anyone who does actually..

I have 8 1/2 BRF jars, and today is day 10 and 5 of them are almost completely colonized (70-90%), and 3 of them are about 20-45%...

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE. I had a 1 pint jar of WBS take 3 1/2 months to fully colonize with BHT, while the others got contammed, but it was my first try. I cased it last week, and they're pinning now. I had better luck with the brf/verm tek as far as colonizing goes. They're usually done in a couple of weeks kepping the temp around 84-86 degrees. And why are you humidifing them at this point you don't have to, until you put them in the FC.

No kidding. I just keep mine in a non air-conditioned room, in a rubbermaid with a lil blankey over it. keeps it around 80F. I know, I know, heat could be higher, but it will be ok.

You sterilized 2 weeks ago, but how long ago did you inoculate?
-"anyone have any ideas????" Yes, be patient.
