2 newb questions...

My first question is about spawn bags, well autoclavable bags. In what kind of store can they be found? What's their real life use?
Second thing: When you pasteurise straw and poo, does it stink like hell in the entire house or what??
Thanks a lot for taking time to help a newbie.

the bags are oven bagsand can be found at the grocery store, or you can buy myco bags online for that specific purpose.
no, the poo has a very earthy smell... it shouldn't stink at all... you do not want fresh poo... you want wheathered poo

autoclave bags can be purchased at lab suppliers or on ebay you can find some great deals. just got a 500 count box of 3 mil bags for .99 and $20 for shipping. $21.00 for 500 is a deal. you could also support one of the sponsors and buy some from them. No you don't really get that much smell from the poo while pasturizing. best of luck

I find 1yr. aged poo works best.

I must be using the wrong poo, but when I pasturize via the pillowcase method, it smells like shit, horse shit. Weird, huh?
