vinyl tubing

is it important that the tubing is vinyl(sp)? when i got my tubing the girl didn't know what it was made out of. It just looks like clear plastic to me. is it ok? I really need to know cause my friends jars are colonzing hopefully they will be done by the weekend when I plan on seting up my terrarium. thanks.

I got tubing and it looks plastic. But pretty sure there is no difference.

Incase you didnt know, vinyl is a kind of plastic. PVC (Common plastic) is poly-vinyl-chloride. See the relationship?
