I have had mine in the fridge for a couple of months now and I know they are still viable. I believe the longest you can keep them is 3 months.
I have never really had enough left over for it to have to sit for 3 months, so it could be longer. I do it in 1q jars, but I always seem to run through it all before 3 months is up. I don't know why they wouldn't be viable after 3 mo, but that is what I hear from a lot of people.

Yeah, I don't think I would have them much longer than that either. Thanx man.

This is a guess, but I'm gonna say 1 tablespoon each of Light Malt Extract and Dextrose per quart distilled water. Works great.

Yes, I think that is what he usually uses too. HippieChick and I also use the same.
This is my favorite combo to use as of now.

Ever tried extra light dry malt? Saw it at the brew shop and wondered if there was any real difference (clarity of LC solution).

1 tablespoon of " Light Corn Syrup" to 100ml of distilled water. For a longer shelf life, I add 3 Tabelspoons to 300ml of water and store them in the door of the fridge. 3 tablespoons vvvv
 3 tablespoons vvvv
 1 tablespoon to 300ml h2o
 1 tablespoon to 300ml h2o
This is one syringe that came out of an LC that was over 6 months old!

I don't know just exactly how long a LC will keep, but they will keep for a long period of time if kept in the fridge.
Sorry if it seems like I hyjacked your thread, but, that was not my intentions, lol. Just showing you some LC pics.

yeah, see....I know everyone says 3 months is the longest, but I knew it had to be longer. I think anything in the fridge should be able to last for years. I think i'll make one, leave it for 1 year and see how well it works after that. I don't know why everyone says 3 months.
