Left overs
    #4562370 - 08/21/05 11:31 AM (19 years, 4 months ago)

I used the simple vermiculite+BRF technique..

i got so excited putting my first syringe into my first jar... and ... i put too much pressure on it.. before i knew it, half my spores were gone. After kicking myself, i only tapped gently on the syringe for the remainding jars.

Well i got 7 jars done.. and theres 4 left. With no spores to put in them yet, im wondering if i can keep them stored until i can get my hands on some more spores.

Should i keep them in the fridge? Will they be okay for a day? It's already been 12 hours...

Any suggestions or help ASAP would be appreciated...

yes you can keep the jars until you are ready to use them. i have stored jars at room temp for a month and they worked fine. best bet is to seal them in a ziploc (so they don't loose a lot of moisture) and keep them in a cool place until you are ready to use.
good luck

I have had success with two month old jars that just sat in my cabinet waiting, so you should be okay to store them for a while.
