    #4562247 - 08/21/05 10:53 AM (18 years, 7 months ago)

just wondering what the best way to flush a casing is if the layer is torn up from pickin shrooms off of it? should i dunk it and then patch a thin layer of casing mix on it?

I've used a solution of water and peroxide in a spray bottle and spritzed it a few times, info on this can be easily searched though. I suggest using the search feature

Patch then soak (mist) down the casing to near saturation and leave it. This is the time when the myc consumes and digests more of the substrate and builds energy for the next flush. I have never had to dunk a casing just maintain it with proper water delivery as outlined in my pinning strategy. GL guys
