Fruiting Chamber/mold
    #4561611 - 08/21/05 01:16 AM (19 years, 4 months ago)

Mornin',

I just removed the last of my cakes from the fruiting chamber and noticed there was some green mold on one of the cakes. I was planning on using the fruiting chamber for my casing. Do I need to remove the perlite and wash the tub down before putting my casing in there?

Yes, clean it well with 1:10 bleach/water. Trich will drop a million spores all over your grow area.

that would be the first thing i would do before i got any casing anywhere near that fc. clean it out well and everything that was or is around it so as you will hopefully get all the stray spores. not hardly get them all because they are everywhere.
best of luck
peace
