 Where should I move to?

Hey All,
I've been thinking about it and I was wondering if any of you Shroomites live or have visited anyplace that is just amazing? I will be living in an EarthShip (www.earthship.com) and will not require "the grid". Here is what I would like however:
1) Plan to live on at least 60 acres.
2) Would love to have a natural source of fresh water on property. Lake/Stream.
3) Would like to be surrounded by considerable wilderness.
4) Need to be someplace that is approx. 2 hours by car away from a hospital/moderately metro area.
5) Must be in forested area!
6) Looking for temperate climate (Not crazy cold winters, not crazy hot summers.)
7) Near a national park? Near Native American reservation?
8) Must be located in United States territory.
If you guys can give any suggestions about any areas which may I may want to check out, that would be great. Thanks.

Out here a ways from Seattle, there is a fairly undeveloped place out in the woods called Seabeck. I don't know about 60, but 20 acre plots with mountain views were selling there a couple of years ago. It's great out there. Nice woods, etc. Maybe try John L. Scott and search around there.
I used to be a real estate agent and really like this area myself. I am not sure where you're coming from so the land prices may not comparable.

That Earthship seems pretty cool. I would suggest the pacific northwest or Canada somewhere.

I have friends in Seattle, I may investigate that area. I always thought I was destined for the Pacific Northwest, even though I'm from the Mid Atlantic!

I lived in Seattle for 11 years. It's a great area. You can't do much better in the USA.

Floyd County Ga, it meets your criteria and the town I'm in has city water thats
fed from the purest aquafer in the US, when it was tested the only source of
contamination came from the collection tubes

too bad I am not rich enough to move there, I wish I could even go on a vacation there for a while...I think I would never want to move back to Utah after that... from what I heard about the PNW from friends that have visited, and lived there...

Why do you think that about EarthShip? It seems like pretty nifty technology to me. Also, Prisoner #1 , that is an interesting fact about Georgia. I'll check it out, although I can't order any spores there!

Well idk, it just seems like a scam...

10% PROFIT
It looks like they are taking advantage of statistics and a wasteful society to make their income. Good idea, if your the one doing it.
But maybe I am looking at it the wrong way, I don't know much about it.

well i know of a place about a half hour from holbrook AZ where there is land for sale for dirt cheap. 40 acres for under 10K. as for water... you have to drill deep and get a lot of purifiers to get the ph, and the taste where you would want it. or jjust get it trucked in...
im not sure of the exact loaction i think its outside of a town called good water, or perhaps it was called bad water. its a little shack off of i-40 on the right hand side as you are traveling east.
