 Acid eating spinal chord

Ok, so i was talking with my friend justin on the phone last night, justin and i get on the subject of acid, because i mentioned that i wanted to get some the last day of the year and trip nuts at school, or for an after party type end of the year thing. Im more or less on the side of acid wont hurt you, but justin tells me of his friend paul who's father has a back injury. Now a back injury alone isn't such a problem, but apparently he is now paralized. Paul said it was because his father did acid about once a month for a year or two when he was a kid and it collected in his spine and now since he injured it, the acid is eating away at his spinal column. Sure enough, as the doctor had told him, just randomly one day he was unable to move his legs. That was about a half a year ago, now his father is totally paralyzed except being able to talk some i believe.. From what i understand the doctors say he will die within the next half year.
Now, here is my main concern, i know that one of 2 sircumstances are what is taking place, either the paralysis is from his back injury alone, or the paralysis is from the spinal injury and the condensed acid eating away at the spinal chord.
This is really confusing considering the fact that i've never heard of this happening.
what has your experience been with this sort of thing, because i really didnt know acid could eat away at your spinal chord.

" Despite many rumors to the contrary, LSD is not stored in the spinal fluid for months, nor does it remain in any organ,. It is eliminated just like other drugs, but more slowly. LSD flashbacks do not occur because hidden drug in the body suddenly reappears. Because the liver degrades LSD slowly, the drug stays in the body for hours, often 12 or more for a single dose.
So basically it does not get stored in the spinal column but is eliminated like other drugs, though is appears to do so more slowly.

well that makes me feel a little bit better
i guess the father was just lying to his son, or the doctor was lying to the father and the paralysis is simply from the back injury

Well they werent necesarily lying. A lot of people believe that to be true. I think lying has to involve intent on spreading misinformation. At least to me it does anyway.

They wern't lieing to him, they were most likely telling them their mis-informed truth. All those myths are absolute bullshit, if acid really ate away at your spine why arn't the millions of people who used it in the 60's and 70's all crippled?

You seriously still believe these myths? They're completely illogical.
Acid is water-soluble; it doesn't stay in your body, nor is it harmful to your body. Acid isn't going to eat anything away, nor is it going to physically damage you. LSD is possibly one of the most benign drugs in existence.

The lies aren't being helped, either, by these fuckwads out there selling lsa and such, saying it's lsd. The highs are completely different and lsa has some bad side effects.

my experience has been well over 500 hits of acid, 3 vials of it in a 4 month period and high doses each time, the highest dose was 25 hits and the average was
about 10 hits each trip... my back is as strong now as it ever was

I've had injuries to my back, but they healed fast, none ever lasted more than a couple of days, my father collected disability claiming LSD/degenerative spine condition

That's like the idiot I work with who told me he takes balloons and fills them up with helium from the tank we have there and then inhales and exhales repeatedly into the balloon and gets "high". He says its "just as intense as nitrous".

I fucked my back up permanently. Skateboarding is bad for you! It sucked when they didn't know if I had broken my back for over a week. I had to get 3 MRI's or whatever.

breaking your back is bad for you, skateboarding is not, the worst injury I got
from it was a serious case of road rash, over half my back, my arm and my leg
I wasnt actualy on the skateboard when it happened, I had just gotten off it
with the assistance of a car.

That's why his story is so disturbing. Didn't the doctor follow the logic in his head and think, "Hmmm, acid eating your spinal cord? That makes no sense-- medically and chemically".

When I was 14 I got hit from behind in a hockey game and ruptured nerves along my spine and numerous hair line fractures all down my back/spine. It was a brutal hit cross-checked from behind about 5 feet from the boards so when I hit the boards my spine basically buckled and was at about a 90 degree angle. I had no feeling in my legs for the longest time and all I remember was just starring down at the ice wathcing all the stars I was seeing. I workout alot so its much better now even though from time to time it can be quiet painful. But yea I don't believe that LSD/back thing for a second.
