I recommend seeing this movie. It's not your average movie. It is from the writer of Kids, so that should tell you something. I actually heard about it from reading another thread on here. Go watch it.

I've seen that picture you posted before and it has always

creeped me out.  I'll go rent/order/buy it and give it a viewing.

Yeah from that pic you would think the movie is creepy, but it's just really interesting and different.

Meatspace: which part are you talking about? I could probably get the still for you and edit it for a signature...

I recommend burning it in an incinerator. This "movie", if you can even call it that, wasn't worth the $3 I spent to rent it. In fact, I couldn't even finish watching it, I turned it off about 45 minutes into it. The cinematography sucked, there was no discernable plot, and as far as I could tell it was just a bunch of ugly kids trying to act as weird and offensively as possible. I don't know what Harmony Korine was trying to convey with this film, maybe that he had an extremely fucked up childhood and wants to share it all with us?

I'm having respect enough to at least ask HER
after a mod requested it be deleted.

and I like any of the dead cat sceens.
I'll rent it again and let you know for sure.
We could set up a small trade for it, because I'd really like a looping gif.

gret movie. if all your wanting from entertainment is the bullshit thats suppose to be good then by all means burn this movie but if you actually have the patience and ambition to understand it then by all means its an amazeing work of art. i just get pissed off when people expect something to fit in the norm whatever that is

I would put it more in the "student film" category than I would call it cinema.

Well I downloaded it so I didn't waste any money. Some parts dragged on. I guess maybe you were expecting it to be something else? I thought it was just really different. And realistic. That's what I liked most about it. After awhile you realize there is no plot, just kinda "a day in the life of these people" kind of movie, so you have to take it for how it is. I thought the cinematography was actually quite good.

It was excellent. I think it was pretty close to reality, only the tiniest bit exagerated.

Some scenes in the movie made me think "I can't believe these people actually exist."

you wanna start something?

I refrained from saying that you can't handle it only because it hits too close to home for you.

You already said that once in another thread of the same topic, so there's really no need to refrain. I fail to see where I am trying to "start something". :smirk:
