Colonization question

Hi Guys,

this is my first post so i want to say hello to everybody.
Im a newbie which have started his first grow.
Ive injected my PFTek jars 5 days ago. But i cant see anything from the colonization. ( And no contamination  :smile: )
I store the jars at 27?C in a dark room. The jars are filled with vermiculte and BRF.

I have buyed the vermiculite at a pet shop. It seems it is for the floor in terrarium so the pets can lay there eggs into it.
Could it be that the vermiculite is treated with something so it cannot rott or something like this ?
Next question is about the rice:
Ive bought 'natural rice' at the shop. Its rice with shell.
Is this the right rice sort ?

thx for the link.
Ive spend many hours on reading here in the forum and reading a lot of teks.

Im little bit confused. In your link is an ratio of 1:2 BRF/vermiculite. In the Tek which i followed is an ratio of 1:3,5 told. ....hmmmm....

Where i came from it is very hard to get vermiculite. The only shop where i can get it is a pet shop. I was in every garden center arround here. Unfortunely nobody knows vermiculite or opticulit/opticult.

I think ive applied not enough water to my mixture. And this is now my problem.
I can post some pictures later if somebody wants to see my mistake :smile:

Just came from the attic.
3 jars show a little bit of mycel.
Great feeling. .... happy, happy, happy ....
Hope the others will go the same way.
One jar seems to be wet. Ive seperated it from the other just to be on the safe side. Time will show it.
