That lady is such a disgrace to her son. If I was him I would be rolling over in my grave. What an annoying cunt. Thats all.

Why does he have to join the armed forces to voice his opinion. Your argument (or lack of one) is pitiful.

That's a funny statement considering this thread is about Quantum's hate for Cindy Sheehan for voicing her opinion.

Cimdy Sheehan's son is noble and brave. She, herself, is a self-appreciating attention whore.

You would be upset about anyone who protests the war or the establishment in general no matter how bad the war got. Seriously though, if you're so gun ho about the war, you have to go fight it now.

I'm not gung-ho about the war, or even supportive of it. I don't know where the hell you get that.

Sheehan may have been expressing her opinion at first but she has now been completely hijacked by the people at moveon.org and Michael Moore. She has now become a tool.

They all share the same beliefs more or less a few specifics: that this is a bullshit resource war. Cindy Sheehan is not being used, she's being supported, and Michael Moore in turn is being supported by Cindy Sheehan. It's a rainbow circle of love. THe only tools I see are hypocrites who support violent conflicts but are unwilling to sacrifice themselves or their loved ones for it, like for example every conservative in politics.

Why can't someone support the war and not sacrafice themselves? There are plenty of volunteers to do the job already. If there was a draft I wouldn't dodge it like you circle of rainbow love people would.

I'm not saying he has to join the army in order to voice his opinion. I'm just saying he has to join the army in order to not be a hypocrite coward.

The armed forces are not meeting their recruiting goals, goals that have been lowered. Stop loss is in effect. If I were you, I'd sign up now - put your money where your mouth is.

Ah. By all means, let's trot out the tired old (and fundamentally dishonest) "chickenhawk" argument.
It takes about three minutes of thought to figure out what a lame-ass "argument" this really is, but longer than that to type a rebuttal to it, so instead I'll provide this link:

I'm gonna have to agree man. It's also sad how the media is clinging to this issue. Your son joined the Army knowing what could happen, I'm sure that he'd rather be honored as a war-hero (as most dead vets get treated) and let that be rahter than have his mother making a scene about it. It's such an obvious ploy to bash Bush. This woman doesn't have any unique ideas or thoughts on the war, she is just understandably upset that her son passed away. I wonder if she'd be "demanding" to see Bush if her son wasn't injured, came back and got a free education and had a great secure job.
