what about this type of WBS?
    #4545710 - 08/17/05 04:49 AM (19 years, 5 months ago)

I was in Walmart the other day and came across this bird seed that had Pennigtons(i think that's it) in it which had added nutriants to the seed. Will this seed work?

Yea, search for that brand on the forums. If memory serves me right, it is a good one to use. Make sure you get one that has mostly white millet and few sunflower seeds.

Bird Basics is another one that is recommended.

Pennington's is excellent. If you can find Pennington's brand finch seed , I would use that. It has no sunflower seeds at all.

Absolutely nothing. There is no need to remove sunflower seeds from the mix. I simmer for 30 minutes, load, PC, and go to work. The amount of seeds that are empty or have no real nutrient benefit are negligible.
