Anyone use these?  It's all my drugstore had, I bought 10 for 3 bucks.  If you use these, tell me how you like em, cuz I'm just satisfied, there's disadvantages like the needle is too short.  It sure would make cute little spore syringes though. It's only 3cc though  :crazy2:

I doubt it...as long as the solution is able to pass thru the needle and into the substrate you're gold. Remember, spores are microscopic...they'll fit. Just make sure you shake the syringe to disperse any clusters or it may present a problem.

You could even use a thinner dry verm layer but I'd exercise extra sanitary procedures if you do.

sweet!! so ya, i remember reading this recipe for keeping spores suspended. it had something to do with jet dry, have you heard of it cuz i definitely can't remember where i found it.

any thing that can break the surface tension of water can be used, a single drop
in 250ml of water is all it takes, use jetdry or even liquid dish soap

not really, you'd just have better dispersal of spores meaning more point of germination

Those will work well for grain innoculations if you use some type of tyvek or filter material that you inject through, plus they will make a smaller hole !!
