If inoculating at a 10% ratio in terms of cubic feet, 1 cubic foot of spawn can inoculate 10 cubic feet of substrate. So my question is, what is one cubic foot of spawn equal to? In terms of spawn bags, I measured the spawn in the bags im using and they seem to equal around 4"x6"x8" of actual grain.
assuming that your measures are right and your spawn bags are like a Rectangular Prism, the volume of a rectangular prism can be found by the formula: volume=length*width*height. Your spawn bags are just enough to inoculate 1 cubic feet of substrate [11,1(1)%].
so 1 cubic foot of spawn = 10 cubic feet of substrate
