non-spiking well cultivated jars. Help please

I have about 8 jars of well cultivated Mycelum; however they have been cultivating for about 6 weeks now and still have not spiked. I tried puting them in the fridge over night to encourage spiking, but still no go. Anyone Have a Suggestion on what I am doing wrong or what I need to do?
Thanks Much, Dr. Z

more info goes like this: Substrate is a Brown rice flower and vermiculite. I put the substrate into pint sized canning jars. They have 4 holes with a layer of tin foil in on the top. I inoculated them with Two strains: Lipa yai and Z-strain. I have been keeping them in a warm 70? + closet. the Mycelium cultivated rather quickly, but it just hasn't spiked. Any tips?

Are they still in the jars, or have you moved them into the FC? Cos they wont really form primordia/pins until you remove them from the jars.(I dunno how well those strains do in vitro)

I have been reading and those spikes you speak of are called hyphae. Mine just got them about 3 days ago.

If they are 100% colonized then yes you can birth them
