Is this an Agaricus

found these on a golf course in a grassy area. The mushroom has pinkish gills, an annular ring, and is all white. small and button like. anyone have a guess what the species is??

yes, i have a spore print of the mushroom, its a dark brown, with a slight rust color.

agaricus of some sort, hard to tell which one though, pic is kinda blurry

Please don't recommend eating a mushroom in this forum that is not properly ID'ed, and suggesting eating a mushroom you aren't sure of is very risky stuff.

dont worry even if i was certain of the species, i still wouldnt eat them. too many risks. i just enjoy finding them and id'ing them...if i want to eat mushrooms, ill just buy them :wink:

Seems consistent with the agaricus genus to me, in order to begin to even determine what section of agaricus it belongs to, more info is required. Cut one down the middle to check for bruising color.
