Since music making is part of every day of my life I decided to buy myself a helpful too for making music. So I bought myself a pair of nice studio monitors (KRK Rokit 8):

Damn what a highly detailed sound!

unfortunately I have to learn for an exam now, but that's the priority for now. I have to make a big summary for it so at least I can just sit at my pc and listen :laugh:

ps don't pay notice to the decade-old dirty mousepad :tongue:

er upon closer inspection to your post i see my question was already answered...forgive me i need sleep. yea i just fucking carried a couple of those exact model into my old apartment not a month ago...what a fucking sound they can generate

My best friend is an aspiring audio engineer, he's taking the advanced post-production classes now. He's cream over something like what's in your pic :smile:

. He was ProTools LE, apparently it's like 1grand+.

yea my old roommate was the same way...i swear that guy could get off on looking at a couple of rokits, a triton board, and a pro tools box.....funny as hell, although i do envy him

I installed cubase but don't really know how to work with it yet (going to rewire with Reason). I ordered two books om amazon though, one how to work with cubase sx and one for mixing and mastering in cubase sx; it's going to be a lot of work/long learning process, but I bet it's all worth it :cool:

man cubase is A-mazing.. you can do anything with it really, only limited by your imagination.. but it has a difficult learning curve.. once you get the hang of it though you can do some awesome stuff.

I didnt like cubase or protools much, check out Abelton Live.

I think that's more for playing live for people in stead of for quility production. But I don't know much about it so I'll read up after I come back from work :thumbup:
