Fruiting Times...

I am wondering what the average fruiting time for the P. cubensis strain would be? I plan on starting soon, and am curious as to when they would be ready for consumption... Thank you!

That depends on the method (cakes or bulk). And, if you start from spores, LC, G2G, spawn, substrate, casing, incubation & fruiting conditions.
You have to be a lot more definitive.
 From pins to fruits in about 5 days.

LC = Liquid Culture

G2G = Grain to grain transfers

Liquid culture nutrient solution, that you inject spores into.
1 ml out of a spore syringe into an LC can get you 800 ml of live inoculate. Which colonize much faster than spores, as they are pass the germination stage (live myc).

Where might I find a "Liquid culture nutrient solution" to mix with the spore syringe?

1 lb of light dry malt, 1 lb of dry dextrose - both from a home brew beer & wine making supply store (or Karo - from grocery store). In a 3% solution, sterilized. RoadKill has a TEK somewhere here.

We should call you saint agar, you have the patience of one! J_Faucon- every question you are asking is in the forums, read the top 2 posts telling you how to use the search function and roadkills links. Also read up about sclerotia and invitro growing, very easy techniques for beginners.
