Just came in the mail

This is my second attempt at this wounderfull hobby. Last time I went with the regular PFtek and had good results with B+, this time I'm trying with 4 different strains. I have enough syringes to experiment so i'll be casing some and keeping some as cakes. My question is this, from all your collected experience what is the best guide for casing, any good tips you could give me that I wouldn't see in any of the guides? also, last time my terrarium was a rubbermaid container with perlite and i would occasionally spray with water and h2o2, any suggestions for a better terrarium? Lastly, should I steam like I did last time or is it worth it to invest in a pressure cooker and are bigger jars better or should i stay with my smaller jars? I'm sure some of these questions (if not all) have been asked to death, I apologize, and I thank you for your help in advance.

smaller jars = less waiting time
Bigger = More waiting time and more spawn

its a win - win situation

GET A PC

you can just use plastic box as a fruiting chamber

hey thanks for such a quick reply, yea I was hoping you'd say that, I want a pressure cooker anyway. Oh and how about guides for casing, I'd really like to increase my yield and casing definitly does that.

Get the BIGGEST PC you can afford, do WBS in quart jars, learn LC's, find h/poo for substrate, get a Martha, coolmist, learn casing, & you are set for bulk.

A dead upright freezer makes one hell of a GREAT incubator & fruiting chamber. (FREE - from appliance repair places - you haul)

LEARN how to do LC's.

Thank you much for your reply too. Unfortunately I'm not made of money... also I'm not a pro at this, being that this is my second time and my last time I did fine I just never caught the spores so I couldn't continue. All that aside, I like to ease into new things and not do a BUNCH of risky things at once, I'll experiment more when I have spore prints and can afford to mess up horribly.
