HELP
    #4547209 - 08/17/05 05:18 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

OK this is my 2ND grow attempt. My first was a complete success. i am using filter patch bags pf style. My problem is i have got a few completely colonized bags that have been cut open and put in fruiting chamber. chamber is pmp with hydroton. humidity is reading 95% but that is as high as my hygrometer shows, i think its around 100. Anyway my cakes wont pin. one was even cold shocked as an experiment, over a week and a half ago. one of my cakes contaminated so we cleaned the tub with alcohol and peroxide. anyway i just figured out today that when my buddy put the hydroton back in the chamber, he put a layer of leca down then sprayed it with Lysol, then a layer of leca then Lysol etc... when i opened our chamber it burnt my nose because of the Lysol so i moved every thing into a 2ND chamber. my question is would those Lysol vapors keep cakes from pinning? my guess is that's what it was since they couldn't breath but I'm no expert. thank you.

lysol will definately do that... if it doesnt then your gonna be in mutant city.

hope things work for ya, never use lysol, oust, or bleach in your FC. Diluted H2o2 will work... 20:1 water:H2O2 is good...
