getting conditions right
    #454647 - 11/11/01 01:35 AM (23 years, 4 months ago)

Tempurature and humidity are not a problem when colonizing and initilizing pins. However, I understand that pins fruiting from a casing should be in a enviroment with only 82% rh. How would I go about achieving this?

1) Remove the perlite.
2) Leave the terrarium lid askew.
3) My personal favorite, pump fresh air in.

So, basically, the casings themself will provide enough humidity in the terrarium themself to support their fruiting bodies. For vermiculite only casings how deep should I make the top layer?
