You aren't a nerd because you watch Star Trek, you're a nerd because you're self-conscious about it.

But don't worry... you're not an Elite Nerd until you start beating it off to Counselor Deanna Troi's cleavage, while imitating Captain Picard's signature phrase: "Make it so!"

I caught an episode of TNG the other day. I have to say they are mildly ammusing to get stoned and watch. I remember watching TNG when i was a lot younger with my dad.

Anyways the episode that was on a few days ago the counselor troy and the doctor chick where both in spandex doing some holodeck work out and i have to say mmm hrhmmm that spandex showed some tho and camel toe. I should figure out what episode it is and take screenshots on my computer for later.

On the note of dogs and such, I find it amusing that Great Danes are about the biggest darn breed of dog there is, yet... they're actually indoor dogs, [usually].

But yeah, Riker, a fine name for a canine. You could also call him "Number One."

Yep, and especially if I do the RAW diet like I plan to. I'm also going to have 5,000 + dollars in a saving account for those inevitable massive vet bills. And pet health insurance.

That's why I'm waiting for the right time to get the puppy. Because it's a practice-child. I want to see how I handle motherhood.

I've been doing some reading about it though and the raw diet makes a lot of sense to me.

There used to be a commercial for TNG on Spike TV that went something like:

"Who gets more space-women? The dashing young Commander Riker? Or the sophisticate older Captain Picard? Tune in to find out!"

I dunno. I thought it was a riot. :smirk:

ST:TNG rules, at any rate. I have every episode on my computer.

You could always tell something really shitty was about to happen to the ship whenever someone screamed out "inertial dampeners offline!".

There's also the old standby of being able to tell who is going to die on an away mission: if you're wearing a yellow uniform and don't have a name...you shouldn't be beaming down :smirk:

I, as well, wake up to the Trek.

Jordie, Riker, Picard, Data how can you go wrong with all those characters?

On another note, the boxed sets for the DVDs run at like $100 a pop. I guess they know the hardcore fans will buy without a doubt. Talk about fucking the customer.

Are you serious? Voyager was the WORST. Kate Mulgrew was a terrible actress, the only good part of that show was the doctor.

Eh.. I can see where you're coming from.. Kate was a little bit cheesy/phony at times. I agree, the Doctor was very good - comparable to Brent Spiner in terms of convincingly good acting ability.

But the main reason why I enjoyed watching Voyager was because of the excellent plot that was filled with infinite possibilities - and they sure did expand alot of horizons in the world of Star Trek... Hell, they even stumbled right in the freakin' heart of Borg Space!

And survived!

And as for DS9, they sure had alot of... Soap Opera going on, as some would say. But I loved the whole series, really. Quark, Odo.. memorable characters. Loved it when Worf came aboard - you just gotta have the token Klingon around. And Captain Benjamin Sisko... Excellent actor - very strong charisma. And Kira, goddamn, this woman had such a presence to her that radiated sexiness. Some people don't get it.. but oh well.

Seven of Nine > Kira > Deanna Troi > Jadzia Dax > Borg Queen

The first two seasons of Voyager were pretty good, and the time they spent in Borg territory had some pretty sweet highlights (like that species from another universe!)

I  Seven of Nine. She can have my little borglets.
