Liberty Caps in Michigan.
    #4540808 - 08/16/05 03:00 AM (12 years, 7 days ago)

I was wondering if anyone has had any encounters with Liberty Caps in Michigan. They seem to be listed in the FAQ all around Michigan, but Michigan is not listed. What's the deal with this?

Does anyoen have any tips on finding liberty caps in case I decide to break the rules of the FAQ?

My tip: Don't count on finding them in MI. They're primarily found in the Pacific Northwest. Finds on the eastern side of the country are very rare.

I've heard of them being found in Ontario. I'm trying to find other species I can find here other than Pan Subbs.

Maybe I'll try finding those Stuntzi's.

My guide lists "Stuntz's blue legs."  :undecided:

I'm starting to lose faith in the guide.  It's not very specific either.  Doesn't even have cubies in it.  It lists a "dung-loving psilocybe" but doesn't even specify the species.

When I said stuntzis I was referring to the species, Psilocybe Caerulipes.
