Thinking of trying something..
    #4539767 - 08/15/05 10:10 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I was wondering if I could maybe get a whole flush out of shit I find in my fridge. Here's what I was thinking...

Taking some coffe grinds, tea bags, popcorn kernals, some rice, and then adding some fruits blended together in a smoothies with some protein powder and suger and honey. Mix it all up, save some on the side, put it in a jar, cook and then add the spoees. Afterwards take jar, break it up and then put the rest of the shit I saved on it in a pan and birth.

lol.... How does it sound?

How come? I'm just curious.. Is that not enough for some nice shrooms to grow?

Maybe add some milk and malted milk to that

because the instant that you have it in the environment it will begin to spoil and contam like crazy. it would be a complete waste of time to do such a thing imo.
myc does have certain requirements to colonize a substrate and i dont think that you would be providing any of them with that nasty mixture that you speak of.
peace  :rofl2:

And some pizza , bubble gum, Twizzlers, Lemon Heads, double cheese burger, fries, and a coke.,..........LOL! I'm just kidding man. You'll need to set yourself up a composting bin if you want to use fruit and vegetable scraps and other additives you've mentioned...........
