    #4539367 - 08/15/05 08:32 PM (11 years, 3 months ago)

If a patch of actives pop up in a certain spot.. Afetr being picked and after the next rainfall and sun will they reoccur? I didnt find the answer to this question in the FAQs so i figured Id ask you guys. And for the record Im obviously not talking about looking in horse or cow fields. More like Pan Subbs in lawns. Thanks :crazy2:

If its a good patch it should flush more than once..
If there were mushrooms that were able to spore B4 being picked or Die in place than Id say yes you have a good chance for more mushrooms to show up in the same place.. But heck I dunno I'm still new

yes, the first and second fruitings (or "flushes) are usually the greatest

after that a patch can yeild up to a fifth or sixth flush,
and then they tend to dissappear until conditions are right again.

The biological role of mushrooms (fungi) is to decompose whatever they are growing from. They secrete chemicals that break the thing down and then they use it for food. Eventually the food source will run out and the mushrooms will stop fruiting.
