With all the potent actives that occur in Japan, I was wondering if there is actually a subculture that actually ingests these sacraments?

I don't know but I do know that mushrooms were pretty popular, and sold openly and legally until a few years ago when the government moved to make them illegal.

I know Japan comes out with some fucked up crazy shit. Katamari Domaci is a great game to play tripping, its made for it. You can go to the mushroom planet, and just use the two sticks to roll over things and get bigger, thats it. Easy and colorful. Then all the movies, music, and other video games..theyve got to be eating lots of good mushies.
