oats as substrate?

do you think the flushes or numbers of mushrooms could be inproved by adding oatmeal to your brf & verm. substrate?

if so could you add other house hold stuff like cream of wheat and grits or regular flour??

i dont know about gritz but oatmal will collonize. however the results are no where near as good as Brown rice flour or other grains.

whole oat-grain is absolute fine for tampanensis and mexicana from my experience...i use oats with the shell...
