Just curoius what is the best way to pick a shroom that will not take a chunk out of cake , AFOAF is looking for a way to keep the cakes healthy , with the cuting method will more still grow from minor base part of shroom that was left, thx for any and all help. Peace

I just grab at the base and twist. I doubt a new mushroom would spring up from the stump of an old one.
