If you are 100% sure the opium is legit and it's not usually available go with the opium for sure! 
Personally I'd go with both. Tripping is great out in nature. Eat some shrooms, have a beautiful trip, and take some opium to ease the comedown.

Why is kava an option? Kava doesn't compare in any way to opium or mushrooms.
I'd choose mushrooms, because mushrooms are a much more insane experience for camping than opium is.
