I've always considered myself to have a low sensitivity to mushrooms. I've rarely went past half an eigth because even with average mushrooms that gets me good. I Recently began taking an anti-depressant called Effexor and tripped for the first time in several months last night. The friend I was with got super high as did others who had eaten the same mushrooms, but I just couldnt really get going - even after eating an eigth. I was definetly tripping, but not as intensly as I'm used too. Also, I lost my equilibrium and became nauseous about halfway through the trip, neither of which has occured before. I feel like it's gotta be related to the meds im on. Anyone else experience this?

"Religion is a defense against a religious experience"
Carl G. Jung
"So really, ordinary reality is a kind of chemical habit, sanctioned by culture, which says it's okay to use certain drugs, eat certain foods, and have certain sexual behaviors. However, when you transcend all this pre-conditioning by returning to the original wisdom of the animal body, then you discover this immense dimension of opportunity. For some people, it is a frightening risk. To me, that's the psychedelic experience."
