Weed + music = bliss

Sorry to state the obvious, but it needs to be said. :levitate: What type of music do you listen to when lit? For me, I like really compositional songs, in that they develop a lot and it all leads somewhere. Nothing, to me, is better than an awesome guitar solo.

Here's a couple of my favorites for this matter:
Mad Season - November Hotel/Wake Up
Modest Mouse - The Stars Are Projectors/Tiny City Made of Ashes
Desert Sessions - Shepard's Pie
Tool - Anything after Undertow (Listening to Pushit, Salival version right now)
Pink Floyd - Just about anything, fuckin' duh.
Mahavishnu Orechtra - Dream, Noonward Race, One Word
Led Zeppelin - Kashmir, Achiles Last Stand, In My Time of Dying, The Rover, No Quarter (Tool version is fuckin awesome)

Radiohead, Kyuss, Pearl Jam, all awesome lit. I love music.  :discodance:  :dancing:

Ahh yes, drumming. You should defintely check out Mahavishnu Orchestra. They're a rock-jazz fusion (really created the label), and they have one of the best drummers around.

Lateralus is also really intense, I agree. Danny Carry, is IM(notso)HO, the best drummer I've ever heard.

I'm lucky enough to go to a local bar where this really impressive drummer hangs out. He's well known, and has jammed a bit with a band. I'm really excited cause I joined a band from that bar, and I might get to jam with him.

Easily my favorite Modest Mouse song. I've never seen/heard them play it live though. I've been to 2 concerts, and downloaded plenty of shows, never heard it once. Weird.

Holy shit, I'm gonna have to check that out. I forgot about it.

hehehe, I just downloaded two songs from iTunes. This is exciting. I'll let you know what I think. Les Claypool is another favorite of mine. Check out his live stuff with "Col. Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains".

20 seconds into the song, and I've already creamed myself.

If you like those, you'll love Pearl Jam's cover of Little Wing/Maggot Brain.

Really long, soulful performance. Mike McCready is a god.
