Would dehydrated Manure work as well as any other poo?

Horse manure is best stored dehydrated, so yes it will work. All horse manure must be hydrated prior to use.

The problem with that stuff is, we don't know quite what it is. It could be store bought manure for all you know. Go with T. Stud and get real manure if you plan to use h/poo, or better yet gather your own. Sorry to say, but the dehydrated stuff is a gamble IMO.

I'm interested in trying that stuff from mycosupply...but its damn expensive compared to TN Stud..especially since TN Stud does buy 2 get 1 free special for shroomery members if you mention that your a memberwhen you order.

Update on the stuff from Mycosupply... It's simply dehydrated cow manure pressed into pellets. It turns into a gross soup when hydrated, and is not an ideal texture or composition for cubensis. Try it at your own risk, but it's not something I'd recommend using.

i found a place to buy h/poo this is the advetisment for it readd it and let me know if this sounds like it would work?
For sale!
DRIED HORSE MANURE!99% pure manure.1% other organic material. (straw, dirt, water, etc.)
This manure is raked from the barnyard, run through the shredder, and packed!
Shredding it turns it into a very fine, easy to work with material. NO Clumps!
Easy to spread and/or mix with soils. It's even fine enough to use in house plant soil!
It has very little moisture in it. Less moisture means less shipping weight per volume!
Makes great fertilizer for gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and weeds!
Need more or less? I have many different weight amounts available. Please see my other items for various sizes.

Sounds like it might work. I have a feeling, thats the stuff KronnyQ just used and had success and without leaching. Normally, you dont want stuff from in the stables though as it hasnt been leached enough...not SURE..but you could try some out.

well,

I have some of the stuff from mycosupply because it is the cheapest I found and I trust our sponsors.  Plus I had a problem with tenn stud's substrate.  I am not complaining about his stuff, but mine had another mushroom fungus in it after a week so...  In any event, I want to try the stuff from mycosupply because I have it afterall.  I've been reading lots of teks and I tried tennstud and had failure.  I really don't like to ask the question, "Where should I go from here?" but after reading all the poo teks I feel like I am going to mess it up.  Please help...

yes, i read it. I suspect that it turns to a soup when you add too much water, but I won't add too much water if I can help it.

Thats not what Diver said..diver said it turns to soup when you add water..period. I have heard, that it is just pressed cow pellets, so mud..when hydrated..like wet cow shit.
