some solo work!
    #4531694 - 08/14/05 12:49 AM (11 years, 8 months ago)

I have been working on my soloing lately by throwing down basic repeated drumbeats in hammerhead and laying down backup guitar. Then all thats left is to smoke a fatty and let the inspiration flow.

I like the second one better.

I recommend you practice with a metronome, and also watch your tuning on the bent notes.  Maybe your intonation is off in a few places too.

Overall, your style is quite evident - metal.  I'm not a big fan of metal anymore but it sounded pretty good.  You have some good melodic ideas but I feel they could be developed better.

Keep on rockin'

I probably should add these were pretty much improv. the only real thing that wasnt was a intro to the second solo.
