PetSmart (or other pet stores) in the reptiles area. Its used for bedding.

Alot of nurseries dont have it...but hydroponics stores usually do, some dont. Pretty much all Pet stores should have it, especially pet co and pet smart. Good think about hydro shops (and maybe nurseries), it usually comes in BALES, as well as bricks..bales are 10 times the coir as the bricks though..

its under the name bed a beast over at pet stores, something like 4 dollars a brick, 15 dollars a bale.  I wouldnt bother with the brick, if you go to the petstore they have bags of coir mixed with verm/peat and oyster shell all made up.  No need to spend a 1.2 hr sawing off a chunk of coir, hydrating it, and then mixing with verm/peat.  Just dump out what you need, hydrate, nuke, cool and case.  Couldnt be any easier

nah its all the same thing.  Just coconut fibers, read the ingriedients on the package.  They just use the name as an excuse to jack up the price per brick, try to make it sound all exotic or something. "forest bedding" lol, you want forest bedding go out and find some pine treas and oak leaves  A sponsor here sells it, but, its a lot easier to just get it at the pet store if you can.
